The Alpine Club is the oldest climbing club in the world with a Libary and Archives extending over 154 years. The club is suited to people who enjoy the greater ranges and would like to climb world wide. The club has meets in the UK as well as abroad getting as far as Antartica last year. We have three types of membership ,Aspirant which is for those peole who only have  limited Alpine experience , Full for people with more experience and associate for people with an interest in mountain art/photography or the written word.There are regular lectures also in London,Bristol and Heathersage were none members are welcome to come along.
