Sharma Onsights two 8b+'s and one 8c in a day

Daila Ojeda has posted on her blog that in one day, Chirs Sharma has onsighted two 8b+’s and one 8c in the Yangshou region of China.

Sharma has been touring Asia over the last few weeks. China is the last stage on a trip that has also included Japan and Korea.

Yangshuo is one of the fastest growing sports climbing destinations in the world. Thousands of lime stone towers create a fairytale landscape and offer huge climbing potential.

Yangshuo has been visited by several British climbers. James Pearson, John Dunne and Steve McClure have all gone to the region. The hardest route in Yangshuo was for a time an 8b that Steve McClure climbed on the famous Moon Hill Arch. Daila Ojeda says that’s where Sharma is heading next.
